[“Just being on cliffs. Even if I’m on the inside of the mountain I still feel like, ‘what if I just wheel the car off the thing?’”] It’s the fear of jumping, isn’t it? It’s not the fear of the height, it’s the fear of jumping. I have exactly the same thing. I’m that close I could just jump. It’s the same next to train tracks and things. It’s like when you’re on stage in the middle of a play, and it’s a children’s play, and sometimes your head just goes, “I could just say FUCK right now really loudly.” It’s the same thing. I find it very interesting. It’s your brain playing little tricks with you. [“See? You’ve got a nice smile but there’s a black heart beating in your chest, Kit Harington.”] (x)

[question from his rugby teacher] Did training with Luke Langham every week help him prepare in any way for his gladiatorial role? The school is so proud of Kit. When can you come and visit us? // Aw, that’s brilliant! Mr. Richards! Yeah, he did teach me rugby. Luke Langham broke my foot. He was a tough guy and I’ve always been quite short…but he was a big guy. Got tackled hard by him a few times. (x)

I consider myself a sightly doddly diddly young English lad who enjoys acting and never really thought he could carve out a career for it. I’m fun-loving with a nice ounce of English pessimism. (x)

[We were kind of hoping to see you strut out on the Jimmy Choo catwalk…] I’d be so bad at it! The models were all about three foot taller than me. It would look like they’d let a child on by accident. (x)

His idea of how to have fun with a dragon would be to have a big enough place where you could just keep your dragon pal in the garden. And then you could tell your human pals, “’Hey, do you want to come see my dragon?’, That’s what I’d do,” he laughed. “Frisk around with it in the garden for a while.” (x)

When he closed his eyes, he dreamed of direwolves.

[Did you ever think of going by Kit Catesby professionally?] ”I nearly did, but I thought it sounded too much like a 1950s talk-show host. I was close, actually! Sometimes I think, That would have been a cool name, but Kit Harington works.”
